Gala Dinner
For a large-scale Gala Dinner staged inside a big top tent, we were commissioned to create custom visual content spanning the evening’s performances. The show was structured around a space-travel narrative — from take-off, through the spaceship journey, flying through the cosmos, and finally landing on an alien planet. Each of the four acts featured its own unique video sequences, designed to immerse the audience and enhance the theatrical storytelling.
The visuals were produced in Notch, with all content carefully timed to match the performances. A major challenge was delivering across an ultra-wide projection canvas measuring 25,000 pixels in width, spread across four screens. This required precise workflows for rendering and compositing, with particular focus on delivering extremely large-format renders on time to meet the show’s tight production schedule.
